Greedy Lawyers?

Tort reformists pain attorneys as greedy, greedy, greedy.
Here's an ad that pokes a little fun.

911 Emergency!!!

Jan 08

So we've been in Great Falls for the last couple of days for a settlement conference.
Before we left Kalispell, my car had a flat and we had to get that fixed.

After various and sundries problems we finally got on the road at 3:00. Driving through Marias pass wasn't too bad in the light but we didn't want to do that in the dark on the way back.

Settlement conference didn't settle the case so it looks like we're going to trial in February.

On top of it all Thursday must have been a record cold day. It was -22 degrees at 8:30 in the morning. That day, the car's battery and break idiot light kept coming on and off. So I thought it was the cold and my battery was old...

Today we started home and the battery/break light was on. It stayed on....

After about an hour of driving, the car totally died.

I must add that Lee was driving and he missed his exit out of Great Falls to take MT 200 down to Clearwater Junction, so he had been on the phone for 10 minutes with Becky at the office looking up driving directions for us. Of course we were driving up and down hills - in and out of cell reception. I think he called the office at least 5 times within 2 minutes... What a circus.

Becky finally gave us our route to take. We were to take exit 226 to Wolf Creek. At mile marked 230 our car died!

So we called 911. That works good, praise God that we had cell service (we were on the downhill side at that particular moment).

The tow truck hauled us to Helena.

We're waiting now to hear the bad news.

The service tech asked us if we wanted to get home today....ARGH!!!!
